An Open Letter From Ryder To You
Spent a solid portion of this month with wonderful people that are dealing with unthinkable loss. What I’ve taken from it is this; life isn’t fair. It’s not. Life doesn’t care about circumstances or feelings or common sense. Life is vulnerable and tomorrow is un-promised.
Hug harder, giggle more, ask the questions you’ve been meaning to ask, tell people you care about them, line up those hangs that you know you should, say hi to the seniors that need human connection, appreciate babies, and pet all the dogs (except the ones that are learning to be chill).
We’re all floating on a weird rock together, and all the things that are tearing us apart might just be windows of opportunity to learn more about why someone we care about cares about something. Love each other. Support each other. And try to enjoy it.
It doesn’t last forever.
