Things To Do In Edmonton On Canada Day

There are SO many locations that you can choose from for July 1st in the Edmonton Area! Here are some of our favourites to choose from!

ICE District Plaza will feature music, games, inflatables, photo booths, face painting, performers for kids of all ages, the city’s best food trucks, non-alcoholic refreshments and adult beverages. Tim Hicks, Nice Horse and Taylor-Rae are set to perform on the main stage in ICE District Plaza

Muttart Conservatory will be celebrating our newest feature pyramid, Lego, with building, creating, and crafting activities throughout the Muttart centre court. Guests will also get to enjoy face painting, 4 different plant filled pyramids, tours, Café Bloom and more (regular admission for this)

Terwillegar Community League will have games for kids, food trucks, and other activities in the park that day. We encourage people to dress up in red and white to showcase their Canada Day pride

The Edmonton River Boat – join a group for breathtaking views, a dash of nautical adventure and the best seats in the house for the fireworks (regular admission)

Chinatown Multicultural Centre will have a lot to do at this event including, hearing stories of Edmonton Chinese history, vendors, crafts, activities, performances, a BBQ, and Heritage Chinatown tours

Summer Tubing at Rabbit Hill – check out their new summer tubing attraction! They will have a BBQ, glitter and, temporary tattoos & more! This summer tubing installation from Neveplast is the first of its kind in the Edmonton area. (admission needed)

Edmonton River Hawks Game against the Wenatchee AppleSox. Watch the fireworks and a baseball game on Canada Day! Come to RE/MAX Field for a night of baseball and family-friendly entertainment, and stay in the ballpark for a front row seat to view the Canada Day fireworks (regular admission)

Telus World Of Science -this Canada Day marks TELUS World of Science – Edmonton’s 39th birthday, and the science centre is celebrating! Come join us for fireworks, rockets, crafts and more. (free admissions and some paid activities)

Rideon Carnival at Millwoods Town Centre -check out the Ride-On Carnival and Popup market from June 30-July 2nd

Currents Of Windermere – “Show on The Square” summer series with a Kids Canada Day Concert in Currents of Windermere’s Town Square! Get ready for an unforgettable experience filled with entertainment, treats, and exciting activities for the whole family between 11-2pm (free)
